In the summer of 2016, Marc got a text out of the blue that would start a brand new adventure for the Seriffs.  The Seriffs were introduced toTom Kirdahy, Broadway producer (by Zach Theatre Artistic Directory Dave Steakley), when he took them backstage at the last production of the Broadway hit comedy It’s Only a Play.  Backstage, we met Tom’s husband, playwright Terrence McNally, Matthew Broderick and Stockard Channing.  That meeting led to the text message that would end up with our involvement as co-producers of our first Broadway production!

Inspired by the beloved films, Anastasia  transports us from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing conman and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love, and family.

With its opulent settings, dazzling costumes, and a soaring score including the song favorites from the hit animated film, “Journey to the Past” and “Once Upon a December,” Anastasia is the spectacular new musical about discovering who you are and defining who you’re meant to be.

A revival of the rousing musical “Once on This Island,” which uses the style of a Caribbean folk tale about love to explore class tensions, is getting rave reviews on Broadway!

The producers Ken Davenport and Hunter Arnold said Monday that they would commence an international search, beginning in Haiti, to cast Ti Moune, the peasant girl whose love for a wealthier boy is at the heart of the story. The musical is set in the French Antilles, and is based on the novel “My Love, My Love” by Rosa Guy.

The show features music by Stephen Flaherty and a book and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, a composing team that won a Tony Award in 1998 for the score of “Ragtime,” and that is represented this season on Broadway with “Anastasia,” now in previews.

Angels in America,” Tony Kushner’s sweeping masterwork, recently revived in the West End, has moved in to the Neil Simon Theater for a limited run, a quarter century after its winged title character first hovered over a Broadway stage.

Bougere (IS GOD IS).
